Description
This intensive course develops skills for effective
interdisciplinary teamwork and solving complex
problems through collaboration. Through project work
and group activities, participants improve
communication, teamwork, critical thinking, conflict
resolution, and presentation skills. The course builds
transferable competencies valued in academic,
professional, and international environments.
Course content: Forming interdisciplinary teams;
introduction to course methodology and teamwork
principles; defining team agreements, roles, and
communication rules; brainstorming and project idea
development; collaborative work on an interdisciplinary
project; regular progress reviews and team reflection;
exercises for teamwork, communication, and conflict
management; preparation and presentation of final
project results.
Assessment is based on active participation during the
course and a final team presentation. This includes
contribution to teamwork, engagement in discussions
and exercises, quality and clarity of the presentation,
and the ability to collaborate across disciplines and
solve problems jointly.
Learning objectives / expected outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, participants
will be able to work effectively in interdisciplinary
teams, define project goals and responsibilities, and
contribute to collaborative planning and problem-
solving. They will improve communication across
diverse academic and professional backgrounds,
manage team dynamics and conflicts, and present ideas
and results clearly. Participants will also reflect on their
teamwork experience and strengthen key labour market
skills such as cooperation, adaptability, initiative, and
presentation.
