Digital Collaboration Tools and Creative Production for Teaching in the Digital Age
Across Teacher Training Academy
We believe in an educational future without borders.
Description
In the contemporary higher education landscape, teaching can no longer be understood as a one-directional transfer of information within a closed classroom environment. Rather, it unfolds in a complex digital ecosystem shaped by fragmented attention, media multitasking, and evolving student expectations. This course is based on the premise that university teachers must move beyond traditional content delivery and increasingly assume the role of designers and curators of meaningful learning experiences. In this context, digital tools such as Miro, Whimsical, Google Forms, Google Sites, NotebookLM, Canva, and DataCamp Classroom are approached not merely as technical aids, but as instruments of creative academic production.
The course explores how principles of visual hierarchy, narrative structuring, interaction design, and attention management can be integrated into teaching practice in order to enhance student engagement and support deeper learning. Participants will examine how lessons can be structured dramaturgically, how complex ideas and data can be transformed into clear and compelling visual and interactive formats, and how students can be positioned not only as recipients of knowledge but also as active co-creators of the learning process. Particular emphasis is placed on the pedagogically grounded use of digital collaboration and content-production tools in face-to-face, online, and hybrid teaching contexts.
By combining business informatics with creative production, the course aims to strengthen teachers’ capacity to design more dynamic, visually literate, participatory, and cognitively aligned learning environments. The broader objective is to support the modernization of higher education teaching through approaches that improve attention, knowledge retention, and student participation, while also contributing to the institutional visibility and pedagogical innovation capacity of the university.
