Description

The course targets higher education teachers seeking
to transform traditional teaching into blended learning. It
introduces the ABC Design Model as a framework for
redesigning syllabi with clearly defined learning
outcomes and student competencies. Participants learn
to plan teaching across synchronous and asynchronous
formats and structure diverse learning activities (group,
individual, tandem, and frontal work). The course also
focuses on integrating digital tools to enhance students’
engagement, support personalized learning, and
monitor progress. It develops both conceptual
understanding and practical skills for designing flexible,
inclusive, and pedagogically grounded blended
teaching.

Learning objectives / expected outcomes

– Apply the ABC Design Model to redesign syllabi into
blended formats aligned with learning outcomes and
competencies.
– Design and implement flexible, inclusive
blended/hybrid teaching using diverse modalities,
activities, and digital tools.
– Critically evaluate and creatively adapt teaching
practices to enhance engagement, personalize
learning, and improve monitoring and assessment.
