ALU Description

Atomic Learning Units (ALUs) are short, focused learning experiences that build practical, future-ready skills. Each targets a single outcome and delivers high-impact knowledge in 25–90 minutes. ALUs can be taken individually or combined into micro-credential courses or parts of degree programmes, letting you learn at your own pace and tailor your studies to your goals.

ALU description This atomic learning unit aims at helping students understand practical aspects of vocabulary in clear communication. Students will uncover an undeniable power of adequate vocabulary use in clear and effective communication. Students will experience different ways of conveying messages in academic and non-academic environments.

Learning Outcomes Thanks to actual usage of enriched vocabulary, students can communicate ideas effectively, clearly and with greater confidence. Students can use acquired practical skills of expanded vocabulary usage in academic and non-academic (i.e. everyday life) environments. Additional learning outcome: increased confidence.
