TUCteach - From Teachers for Teachers - How microcredentials are being implemented in teaching across different subjects
Across Alliance — e-Campus
Description
How can microcredentials be meaningfully integrated into teaching across different subjects—and what can we learn from each other’s experiences? In this session, instructors from various disciplines share how they have implemented microcredentials in their courses, including collaborations with industry partners and actors from the local community to bring practical perspectives into the classroom.
These insights highlight how teaching can be designed to address diverse levels of prior knowledge while remaining accessible and engaging for a broad range of students. At the same time, students benefit by gaining exposure to teaching approaches and subject areas beyond their own field, expanding their academic and professional horizons.
The format offers a series of short inputs from colleagues, focusing on their approaches, implementation strategies, and experiences working with students and external partners. Designed for both new and experienced university teachers, the session provides inspiration, peer insights, and space for discussion and questions.
