Numerous hotels and apartments are available on Booking and Airbnb. The university is 5-10 minutes by taxi from the city centre.
On Campus β Student Dormitories
Rooms are equipped with standard furniture (couches, wardrobes, desks, chairs, shelves, bookcases). All rooms have refrigerators. Free Internet access via EDUROAM. Each segment of four rooms shares a bathroom with two sinks, shower, and toilet. Communal kitchens on each floor with gas stoves, electric oven, microwave, and sink.

πΏ Green Travel and Sustainability
As part of the “Development Strategy for 2021β2024 (perspective to 2030)”, BUT is implementing the sustainable development strategy “My Green University”. Activities running until 2035 respond to the global challenges of climate change, air/soil/water pollution, loss of natural resources, and biodiversity loss.
BUT has been creating solutions and implementing technologies in compliance with sustainable development principles for years, and is committed to transferring this knowledge to new generations of engineers.

EU/EFTA citizens (including Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) are entitled to free medical care with the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). The card does not cover private or planned treatment in units without a contract with the Polish National Health Fund (NFZ).
